Can I have some advice please.
Rather than upgrade the headlamps on my 02 Defender TD5 110 or buying extra driving lights, I'm considering buying a 42" LED light bar to fit on the front bumper.
The choice out there is big, ranging from 124, 240, 400, 540 and beyond but the only advice I've read is not to be seduced by wattage alone.

They all seem to have the same features, spot lights on each end and flood in the middle.

Which one would you buy or from those who have already bought, which one did you buy.
All advice will be gratefully accepted.

42 inch long?

If I had the money I'd probably go for Rigid.

I actually went for two 30cm for £40 ish the pair off ebay, a few years ago and they still work as new!

Yep! 42" fits nicely on the front bumper and doesn't impede air flow to the radiator.

I agree, if I had the money I would buy a Rigid as well - but have you seen the price of them?
I paid less for an entire S2a!
