If you want to resort to firearms, don't use a 9mm pistol. Lousy reputation for leaving too many (but injured) eye-witnesses.

Try a Mossberg 12 bore five-shot pump action, camo pattern, shotgun, firing three-and-a-half inch magnum Double 0 Buckshot.

Serious.

The recoil is bad though.

.50 heavy machine gun with AP and tracer, noisy but effective and with the tracer you can see where your shooting
 
id go with an M60 on a bi-pod and reel off a few hundred rounds in 2 sec. bursts, tracer every 5th round :)
