Hi All
Both P38's in trouble now. DSE has hard fault on EAS and is going in for a new air spring next week and HSE has front diff problems. What I would like to know is can I turn the HSE into 2 wheel drive to stop me having to hire a car until DSE is back from garage.

Regards Craig

Bought my dse with no front prop and didnt realise for nearly 9 months!!!
Drove ok but did drift a bit on fast corners:D

Did you find out why the car had had the prop shaft removed? I have blown diff so would like to run on 2 wheel drive until one is fixed

:(:(:(:(:(

the axle will still turn so could this cause a serious issue, i.e one wheel locks up at a critical moment, especially as the diff is screwed anyway!

My RR was a cat d repaired when i bought it and the wise minds on here suggested a prop would be removed for a suspended tow......but on fitting a prop i now know the diff is whineing like a woman.........could be why i have a replacement diff in the back of my van:D

Are you replacing the diff yourself??? It doesn't look too difficult but i'll let you know when i've done mine.

'Oi Gav...i mean forum pikey.....you busy 1 weekend soon????tea and custard creams on offer.....
