hello there im looking to replace the door, rear pillar and tailgate speakers with same sized speakers.still got factory fit radio/cd . all speakers must fit in holes without cutting.not looking to make blood come out of my ears or creating the royal albert hall just cheap and cheerful. any recomendations?

Any standard 100mm 4inch will fit, just make sure they are the same depth as the original.
You won't get any extra volume u will an amplifier for that but the sound could be a lot clearer and more defined with better quality loudspeakers.

I hate to say it but halfords have good cheap speakers that will play the standard head unit at full volume with clarity and to be fair it's loud enough to give some-one a head ache!

You can buy some cheap-ass edge speakers the same size, add a couple fli tweeters, job done. Then elaborate later with a sub and amp. Whack some coil overs, slam your car, and sit at Mcdonalds.

To be fair the edge ones are ok but those tiny speakers in the front door will never produce a decent sound as they can't get enough low end. What I did was stick to some edge ones in the front doors as a straight swop (about £16 from internet site) then I took the rear pillar ones out and replaced with some 16cm Pioneer speakers bought in a car boot. They sit in the recess but need screwing to the panel surrounding them so they sit a bit flush. But it does give a decent overall sound. I do have a sub in the boot too which helps:D But without it is fine for most as long as you go for a bigger speaker somewhere; 16cm is a good compromise.

ok im now sorted for door and pillar speakers what about the sub i belive it takes 6.5" but what do i do with the amp unit fixed to the back as there will be no fixing holes...drill new ones self tapper or will it wreck the speakers?.
