Hi has any one had any experience with these tornado chips, just ordered a set, should be delivered in the next couple of days?

right seams like no one has had any experience with these, they turned up by post yesterday had to remove the ecu and install the new chips, took her for a spin and noticed straight away a lot more toque in the lower rev range thats good but aint going to help the fuel consumption so took it for a bit of a drive down the motorway and hey 24mpg showing on the trip computer and rising never had it goe above 20 mpg, took it round town and hey 17mpg used to get about 12, so abit expensive but its still got to learn apparently over the next couple of hundred miles will update when ive done a few more miles.

I was looking at their website after reading your posts. It all sounds interesting but I was put off by the fact they charge you £145 extra for a device to stop you copying their firmware. What a cheek.

I think it's a con as anyone with half a braincell and an eprom programmer could bypass it anyway.

I am impressed though by your short term findings. I would be interested to see how your MPG looks after a few months.

Got an RPi dual fuel ECU in me 3.9 soft dash with Piper cams and stainless sports exhaust. Goes like stink, economy not bad on a long run (particularly on gas) but only just touching 10 mpg round town. But then I do drive like it's meant to be driven
