Laser sintered parts are usually stronger than items done on peoples home 3D printers. If you have a 3D file such as from solidworks or similar, you can send this to the people that do it and they will quote you. If it is just a one off it will be expensive compared to if you are asking for 10s or 100s of them.

The items are usually from Nylon which is quite strong and you can get them in their natural colour or with a black finish - but this is not a painted finish and the black varies.

Anyone had anything 3d printed ? I'm looking to develop some of the harder to source pieces for our vehicles and would like recommendations for people / companies that carry out small batch 3D printing at reasonable rates ?
My brother is into 3D printing as a hobby. He just popped in today and gave me this to replace the plain round one currently fitted to my 109
