Hi everyone, I'm a first time land rover owner but have had them previously in the family. I have a 51 plate discovery 2 manual 2.5. It's done 42,000 miles and has a full service history as it's come from the MOD, so I'm hoping to keep it in good condition.

Welcome to LZ, Mate! :)

Clean looking Disco.

Hi Tonga,

Welcome aboard.

A couple of things.

Download RAVE workshop manual you may need it.
Find / make a friend who has the diagnostics for a D2 TD5.
Make sure you have the EKA code.

Cheers

That is actually three things! :)

But all good suggestions as well.

Each to their own my friend. It’s down to personal preference and practicality in certain situations. I assure you the majority of people on here have opted for the “Orf road rubbish” does that make it a bad thing? I think not

Nothing to do with practicality, a standard landrover is very capable off road with the right driver.

Most people on here have not badly modified their vehicles, I know many of them personally, you do not.

And you are not my friend, I do not know you, either in real life or on the forum.
