If so how did you fill this and make it water tight?
Oops, perhaps there are two jos to be done.

The arches are indeed the flexi ones.

Hopefully it wont take more then two days

The back end wont be to bad, but the front can be troublesome. Make sure you give the spring clamp bolts and the damper lower nut a good soaking before you start. Infact if your doing it this weekend, give them a spray tonight, tomm, thurs and Friday. You wont regret it. Spring compressors are essential if you are fitting dislocation cones, and I would recommend having a 24" stillson wrench to lock up the dampers when trying to undo the bottom nut.

Good luck and post some pictures when your done.

Good

This weekend has been wet, painful, tiring, but ultimately successful. I managed to finish the 2” lift on my Disco. Here’s the parts I fitted;

OME Springs
OME Damper
Dislocation cones
Cranked training arms
3deg radius arms
Wide angle props
Polly bushes all round
Extended turrets

Is was a big job as a lot of things seemed to fight all the way. The job took me 22 hours over the weekend, with about 4 of those in the rain :hysterically_laughi.

The job was made easy by the purchase of some penetrating agent and some air tools :). It made the world of difference.

I didn’t get the change to fit the extended brake lines because I left them behind. So that’s a job for this weekend.

Now all I have to do is the arches and then the big wheels :)

I have added to pics below. Thanks for every ones advice, I will need some more so as I have a few little issues I need to sort, but I will start a new thread for that.

Many thanks
Mike
