S reg disco 300tdi
Would make good project / tray back or for parts
Everything is good on this disco apart from rear quarter/half chassis
Tax till September
Mot till April 2015
Open to sensible offers

That's very honest of you to advertise a car for spares or repair when it has tax and MOT.
3 door, low spec, I bet a landyzone member will lap it up.

would a bit of plating sort the problem areas or is it more than that?

I bought it to trayback it but don't have time or room in my unit to work and do a project build. even less room since I snapped my cam belt on my 90, stripped head to find It warped and pitted.
All depends on your skills with a welder and what you want at the end of it.
I personally think it will never be a family motor again. But would make a good trayback build or good for parts.
Asking price is £450ono

I always try and be as honest as I can when selling. I wouldn't want someone to think everything is right when its not.

Ah ok Stu ;)

that's what I needed to hear. An honest guy with values :)

good luck with the sale, it's worth that for the engine alone

Can you post the dodgy area pics. What other suspect areas like such as boot floor and door arches etc. how many miles it covered and are box and transfer box all ok etc.
Cheers

Will get lots of pics tomorrow of chassis and problem area's
Iv drove it on and off a trailer then about 2 miles before I put in car park by my unit.
The little I have driven it was all nice and smooth, left it running for a hour out side my unit no over heating or any issues

Right when I got under the landy the other day to get pics I noticed it's not as bad as I was told it was. As I bought to break was more interested in engine and box/drive train. Turns out its mostly surface rust. Boot floor is solid, front and rear arches solid, sills are solid, all body mounts are solid... wtf im thinking...
yes it needs a few bits of welding on the chassis rear quarter but it more the boot floor supports, exhaust hanger, patch near shock and a strip 8" along the top and bottom of the chassis as it's split on the seam. Side steps rotted.

so im sorry but it's now not forsale as im keeping it for myself and doing it up,
lift kit and 3door extended arch kit has been ordered.
also now have a traders policy so the more motors I have the better lol (get my money worth)
