Hi guys i hope you are all well.

On my 1998 300Tdi Defender i have noticed i might not have the right relays in place.

see the photos and you will see the starter relay is missing?

The Landy has always been like this and states fine.

I don't even have a rear heated glass.

Whats you thoughts?

I think you’ll find that the vacancy exists for the HRW relay, your corresponding fuse is missing so I’m guessing there’s no need for one on your Landy?

I’ve just added the missing HRW relay to the same hole in my ‘98 300tdi 90 CSW and Voila!

Not like LandRover to label the relay sticker differently to the actual fitment……oh no

The starter relay and heated windscreen relay are labelled the wrong way around on mine too (‘99 300tdi). Spent hours trying to fault-find after I had replaced relays according to the fuse box sticker and unsurprisingly couldn’t get it to start… was happy when I figured it out though!
