Hi I keep replacing my doughnut between rear prop and diff. It's only lasting about 8 months without massive usage and only off roading a few times.
Last year I changed prop for a second hand 1as old one got damaged due to doughnut failing and prop bolts hitting diff bolts.
Any ideas please?

Only worry is if theirs an issue it will caused damage on other bits rather than doughnut !
Don't you mean 'there's' ?
V8 D1s haven't been fitted with the "doughnut" from the 1996MY, without any issues due to it not having it fitted.
My 3.5 RR had one fitted, it wasn't replaced in the 10 years of my ownership.

not having one wont be an issue but a v8 isn a good example of why not ,v8s are less harsh on the transmission

I am very used to driving land rovers as owned a fair few over the years.
I know not much can be gained from popping clutch on a 4 x4 apart from damage to various parts on the drive.

Something is obviously not right .I can't see a 2" lift would b an issue.
Only other thing I have done is disconnected anti roll bar. Can't see how that would do that ??
I have poly bushed vehicle, again can't see how that would affect it.
maybe rear diff or prop ??
I have put another new 1 on today and got the more expensive 1 from m n m as should b stronger, but don't hold out much hope....

Have the propshaft splines ever been apart and/or have you checked the phase angle on it?
