Had a look at my copy of the parts catalogue and seems the bit I'm looking for is missing

it the rod end on the passenger side. The one at the rear of the front axle, the rod has the steering damper fitted to it. Need to replace the end but can't find a part number and don't know if the end is left or right handed thread
Anyone know the part number?

front track rod end
whats the last 6 digits on chassis ill look it up

and its the n/s trackrod end
the front 1 with the steering damper
or the drag link on the rear

On this Discovery the damper is on the rear bar as per the 1st (end is the one nearest the camera) photo

Just for reference the other bar attached to the steering box has nothing on it (as per 2nd photo)

Done some digging and appears its either
RTC5869 RH thread
or
RTC5870 LH thread

But don't know which one for the nearside?

RTC5869 for near and off side track rod end ball joint. Also drag link steering box end ball joint.
RTC5870 for near side drag link end ball joint
