Hi, all.

I've found a good local garage and am interested in them servicing my auto Disco, potentially. Does anyone have access to an electronic list of each service, detailing what needs to be done when. I'd like to give this to the garage to see how their prices compare to the Landy specialists I've been using. I think he RAVE cd may have the info I need, but I don't have a Windoze PC.

Can anyone help?

Cheers,

Chris.

Chris u don't really want a garage to check your wiper blades, tyre pressures or steering fluid level etc etc do u, as the is what happens with a vehicles maintenance schedule from the main dealers, it's something only done with new vehicles or if the owner hasn't a clue on what is what like my Mrs with her new car.

Just list what you wish doing when it goes in for the service, it will cost a lot less.

This is the schedule for my disco when it was serviced by a LR main dealer .

Thanks again, discool. This looks similar to a sheet I got from LR a few years ago for a service. I'll have a look on a proper sized screen (not phone), but you're right, the simple stuff I can inspect myself, but I want a pro to look at stuff like the propshaft, brakes ans stuff that requires know-how and or tools I don't have. I've now got a link to a spreadsheet with varying tasks. I'll compare the two.

Just need to keep the Disco for a bit longer yet, so need the important bits to be monitored.

Cheers,

Chris.

The 'Fuel additive' looks interesting, but I use BP Ultimate which seems good for the Landy. I think the sheet I had previously had petrol and diesel entries highlighted. Should be easy to spot.

Cheers,

Chris.

Ok, propshaft uj's brakes bushes perhaps goes on your list also list the fluids you wish to have changed.
