Personally no it doesn't matter to me, I enjoy driving it and that's the end of it. Just find it interesting how much some things affect it.

23/24 round town, 30 @ 70mph long run and 36 @ 60mph on a long run. Standard disco 300tdi auto edc with 235 75 at2's

gospel.calculated it on sunday.350miles 55liters-12.3imp gallons.works out to 28miles per gallon.this is in white rock b.c. canada.maybe not as many stops and starts as where you are,but alot of that was vancouver city driving.regardless,my 2002 dodge ram with a 5.9 cummins is hopeful to get 17mpg in the same conditions.

Between 30 and 52 mpg.30 in my discovery, 52 on a good day in my micra.
Yeah,thought that meself,but not been here long and just flitting around,I like reviving dead things,thats why I've a Disco :crazy_driver:
