ah excellent, you sound like you have everything in hand.

i'd also say take a long length of normal car wire, couple of meters will do, jump leads, cable ties, some tape. this is useful incase any of your leccies start to play up/burn out.

then you can use it to fix the fault or get your engine running without all the electrickery.

only other thing with discos imo is the rot. usual places, under the battery / fusebox, headlights, etc

chemical metal and superglue is handy :D

haha, we really are doom and gloom.. you'll probably not need any of this :)

(phone + inet + lzir might help to sort out any niggles if you hit any)

Good idea with the wire. Added to check list. There isn't too much rot on mine. It's bad under the battery but its secure and I've made the decision to leave it until we get back. There is a hole in the boot which I have bodge sealed with ply and sealant, again can't really afford to have it fixed before we leave. Keeps the fumes out and this time of year, water isn't a huge issue.

I'm hoping I won't need any of it, but for the sake of 1/2 a mile to the gallon, I'm taking it all just in case :D

I've spotted a chap on lzir in Norway ;) he might be getting a call :D :D

Just an update. Revs are no long jumping. Not much veg left in there now. So veg was the issue. Can't wait to get it all out!

Mines the same... guess its a toss up between £1.40 per liter of derv or a slightly lumpy free running disco :)

Yeah, i find that up to around 60% veg 40% derv is OK at the moment.

I used to put petrol/diesel mix in my transit, from mis-fuels, etc. Need more of that!
