Going to be fittin me EGR blanking kit tonite,
I'm going to remove my inlet manifold aswell and clean it inside, don't want to be seagoing my whole tool box home from work lol what tools are needed to remove EGR and inlet manifold

Any info would be good cheers all

inlet manifold needs 10mm socket and 13mm socket,ratchet and 5-6 inch extension ,plus screw driver for hose clips (usually 6 or 7mm socket size)egr valve needs 6mm allen key and a hammer and flat punch to shock bolts if tight

you will need a 7mm spanner if shield is still in place above starter

I'm going to do the same - I assume a new inlet manifold gasket is also required?

only if you remove exhaust manifold gasket can you change it ,if its in good nick ie not split its ok just to bolt inlet back on

Just got mine stripped down gaskets shagged lol exhaust manifold off tomoz nite YIPEEEE I can't wait pmsl
