Hey guys,

Any ideas what to do for these hoses? I want to replace all hoses (they’re old and collapsing). But I’m guessing this conversion is sitting further back to the bulkhead (lt77 gearbox btw)?

When I dont my last conversion I bought a silicone hose kit, cut the shortest ones in the middle & used stainless pipe
to extend them with nice polished stainless jubilee clips. I done the same with my power steering pipes as they were
too short but new lying in the shed so chop chop. :)

What's going on with the top hose? It looks like a hose clamped to a smaller hose and then clamped to the rad!

Just the final tail of the power steering hose not the middle bit with connectors either side right?

Any idea on sizes to order? I’ve found a kit I want already but need the stainless steel bit

Steve Parker does a 300tdi to LT 77 hose conversion kit.
If looking for some stainless tube there is likely a farm dairy parts supplier in your area, may even have some off cuts.

Nope it was the pipes with the pipe fittings either side, worked a treat for 5 years until I sold it.
I dont recall the sizes off hand.

Yes, they do a kit just for 300tdi to LT77 short bell housing. Find on the Ebay or Steve Parker on the web.

I'm actually laughing at this build.. previous owner didn't want to buy a bigger bell housing so they just cut the engine mounts off and welded them back 6 inch

It is more common to find 200's fitted to a Lt 77 as this is pretty much a straight swap with just rad mounts and exhaust [if Disco 200]needing modification.
Finding a long bellhousing for Lt77 another matter. I think some were made for 200 engine Range Rover.
So moving engine mounts reward to fit 300 is the answer.
