Hi all, I've just replaced the gearbox and transfer box on my discovery 300tdi, and I thought while I was there I might aswell do the clutch, it's all bolted back together but I can't seem to bleed the clutch properly. I have put the slave cylinder on after the box was bolted up but left the slave cylinder rod clipped on the fork and then pushed it into the slave when bolting it on should this be ok? I have bled the system and there feels to be resistance in the pedal, it's not staying on the floor and it does return but its not engaging the clutch as it won't go into gear, it doesn't feel as if its rock hard so I'm assuming the rod is still connected to the fork as it should be. Does anyone know any tips for bleeding the clutch? Does it have to be pressure bled?
Thanks
