hi there,does any body know or has done a 300tdi transplant {disco engine}into a 90.the reason i ask is my 2ootdi has died and i have a 300 sat out side{ mot failure}but i dont want to change seatbases and gear boxs.from what i can see if i change the engine back plates it might fit subject to weld on new mounts??. so does 300 mate with lt 77 easily?? any feed back welcome

my friend has a 200 tdi disco with the later r380 box on the end of it , i,m 99 % sure 300 tdi will fit a lt 77 , hope this helps

yeah i did the swap, theres a thread on here about the entire job. search for 300tdi upgrade.
