So, SWMBO's Rear shockers ....:- OS shroud was rusty, as in rotten... but otherwise in good order ...Now, I know it's supposedly not "economic" to fix such a thing, BUT, I can do it, so I did..:p

This is what I started with:- ( was a bit,er, not very well ;) ) ....

Spray painted it with Tractol red, on top of etch primer, and re-fitted it with new bushes ... Then sprayed it all with Dinitrol 4010, which, granted hides the gloss - but still looks the dogs IMHO

Things ain’t going well with the d4 the shoes that they gave me are for a Toyota Corolla which is a good start :( 45 miles to get the right ones

After a lot of hours and swearing the d4 is done ✅ thank the wee lord Jesus :)

Nice job on the Disco! Gives me hope, and the recommendation regarding rust proofing will come in handy later on!

After over a year of pestering, my sliders have been made, my garage is built and I have lost all motivation but recently have had a fresh burst and wanting to crack on with my build, work commitments and family are making it extremely hard to do, keep chipping away and keep my chin up and I WILL FINISH THIS,

About half hour tonight after a long shift at work, little steps going a long way,

managed to get a hold of a set of castor corrected radius arms and cranked trailing arms, so the plan was to remove axles and freshen the casings up and give everything a good going over and replace parts as required but due to family cars needing repaired, I’ve had to throw it back together to get it out the garage and let them in!

Also slight alterations to the sliders to make them fit correctly as the size I gave the fabricator is 100mm too long, brain spaz moment on my part
