Hi guys, Ed here.
The steering wheel on my 300tdi Disco is off centre, which is obstructing my view of the dashboard. Any suggestions on how to rectify this would be gratefully received. Many thanks

Check your drag link - if your wheels are pointing ahead and the steering wheel is pished, it may be bent - easy fix tho :D

You can adjust via the drag link but has it just happened or has some dopey mechanic left it like that:)

before you do you set pas box central first then check/adjust steering wheel then adjust drag link to put steering wheel back to center if then out

Just checked underneath. Nothing seems bent... Noticed oil dripping onto the rd though, but that's for another day...

when my wheel was off centre turned out to be the swivelbearing had collapsed, check for oil leaks from swivel bearings and play in front wheels

Get someone who has a clues about Landrovers to have a look .. it can be something (swivels) or nothing (dragrod) or many things ... It's easy to remove the steering wheel, for instance, and replace it one spline out and could be _that_ simple ...

I did it when I replaced the indicator self-cancel thingy ...

I am in the same boat pal, got my lanny last week and also the sterring wheel is pished! it drives straight and doesnt pull to either side its just the steering wheel is a tad to the left when driving in a straight line ( I know hard to believe a landy drives straight )
