Hi,can anyone advise please.I have used low range with diff lock to tow a car out of the snow, slowly for a couple of hundred hards.I then transfered back to high range but the diff lock light has stayed on.I have tried moving the lever back & forth quite a few times.Could it be the switch stuck on or could the diff lock be stuck on in high range.I have seen on another tread to reverse for a few metres, which i will try just thought you guys might have some other answers. Many thanks

either just drive it and change gear and it'll go out or reverse and swing the wheel back & forth If that don't do it get under and wriggle the linkage.

Edit you did remember to pull the difflock lever back to the right hand side didn't you??

I'm a fool.Didn't know that!! 1st time i've used it as hardly ever drive it.

Thanks for your advice, human error on my part yet again!

Your not alone, i got caught as well with this one. Only when i reversed did i twig why it went off and remember reading it here. I had spent and hour trying to get it off and driving like a snail
