Hi all
I decatted a while ago and used a flexi front pipe
I removed the rubber hanger that connected near to the cat as I thought it wasnt needed but have read somewhere that it is needed for the flexi
The new front pipe didnt have an attachment for the hanger anyway :doh:
Should I fit it (I kept the hanger and bracket

Hi, what make flexi pipe did you buy ? I am just about to do the same conversion and it looks as if you could be correct that it does not need a hanger as I have just been looking a photos of various pipes on the net and I can not see a hanger attachement . Regards Jonathan

Hi Jonathan
Got mine from Paddocks-Front flexi and middle and back pipes ( complete system ) as the back pipe was shot and fitted myself single handed
I have read that you can use a pipe without flexi but I found it easier to fit with it due to its flexibility
Manifold studs were a bugger to get off plenty of WD40

no hanger on the non cat sytem - its only there to support the weight of the cat
