Half way through my 110 rebuild, Disco 300tdi in to Defender 2.4 or what ever it was.
My very first attempt at anything like this as you will see from my other posts, trust me to go in at the deep end.
Anyway need to order a few fiddley bits and bobs o rings for oil cooler pipes , temp sender as think its different, and power steering pipes.
Some great info here http://www.glencoyne.co.uk/tdig3003.htm but he seems to have some part numbers wrong, he has power steering pipe part number ANR3125 but I cant find it anywhere, and need this pipe, anyone know correct number ?

depends were reservoir is going to be just above the box or on opposite wing
Might be wrong here when I said the opposite wing, but not sure which side the reservoir goes, in this Conversion. anyone know ? Discovery 300tdi into defender with LT77 BOX.

Bloke down the street breaking a Disco so got the power steering pipes to try and to my surprise and relief they fit, had to jiggle them about a bit but got them near enough, couple of things I'm not sure about, the pipe from box to pump was the hardest and it does not sit along the front cross member like the other, but is held in place sturdy enough that it does not move, also when screwing in to box they did not go all the way down as in pic, Is this normal or should they be screwed right down, ? they are tight enough though.

That's what I meant about using the britpart pipe that comes with 2 flexible joints, I accidentally said pump side in the pm but I meant the box side of the high pressure pipe is ridged on the standard disco pipes so you have no give to put it against the chassis and secure it.

Personally wouldn't want it hanging about like that, would think it could vibrate and crack?

Side note too , make sure you use the little clamps that hold the oil cooler pipes together , the oil cooler cracks if they're not used

That rigid hp pipe will fail the mot I would have thought.
Get the rubber part extended by pirtek or a similar place. They will cut off the ferrules and stick a new longer hose in and re ferrule it.
Clamps will then hold it to the cross member. My new chassis needed rivnuts fitting to the crossmember , are they there on yours?

Thanks it's not really hanging as it is very sturdy, but will have another look. I found the clamps for cooler pipes too.
