Hi guys,

Getting stuck into replacing clutch and putting it back together tomorrow.

Any tips for clutch alignment?

Thanks

Mike

if you go down the route of a universal clutch alignment tool, make sure it does actually fit both the spigot bearing and friction plate. The one I have does have a suitable collet for the friction plate but I had to wind some electrical tape around the largest end so that it was a better fit in the spigot bearing

I have read on some other sites that a deep 16mm socket works?... any body verify this?

I used a deep 15mm socket (IIRC), with some PTFE tape wrapped around it at one end. The socket fits the spigot bush and the tape makes it the right size for the clutch centre.
