Could someone let me know what the harness in the middle of the bulkhead is for.
You will have one either side going through and one next to the steering arm.
It's off a disco 1 300tdi automatic.

Well basically, the loom steering arm area in the engine bay has feeds plus voltage from the engine bay fuse box to the larger interior fuse box, on the opposite side of the engine bay its for the circuits in the engine bay and head lamps, abs, cruise control and engine electrics.
I expect you will find more exact information in the disco workshop manual.

Cheers mate many thanks.

Hi discool
Where does and what colour is the starter solenoid cable comes from.
Haven’t a clue :(
But, a wiring diagram I have states the wire colour is white/red at the solenoid, it then joins a brown/red wire from the starter relay which feeds to the glow plug timer unit, (which is the relay unit fitted to the fuse box bracket in the engine bay).

So from the starter solenoid white/red then onwards on a brown/red to the starter relay.Simples :)
