I struggle to find window switch mounts (i.e. the one that fits next to the handbrake and carries all of the switches) that aren't cracked. Am I the only one, or is everyone driving around with these panels split? If it's a common fault, it might be worth laser-cutting a batch from sheet steel or aluminium. I've just made one (by hand, not laser) for my own vehicle but it ought to be reasonably straightforward to draw something up if there was demand?

I've glassfibred the back and put textured sticky vinyl on the front ...
 
I just got tired of the soggy feel of the existing cracked mounts. There's something about old Land Rover trim that seems bent on reducing it to fragments!

Be better to 3D print replacements
