NRC8955. Why are they so bloody expensive!? £26 for a bit of injection moulded rubber and all the other versions for other engines are £3. Does anyone one have a serviceable spare they're prepared to part with in exchange for a few quiddies?

Alternatively I could see if Tiger Seal can repair the rip.

Replace it with a solid cap and just don't dip the intake in the water, or fit a snorkel. What I have done with my one.

Still £17 after VAT and P&P! :( But at least that's a tenner cheaper. Think I'll try Tiger Seal and if that fails I'll cap it off. I already have a snorkel fitted. I thought part of its role was to allow dust from the cyclotron affect to escape...?
If you have a sealed snorkel fitted then just cap it off. Its only purpose is to let water out that has made its way in through the standard intake system.

What cap do you suggest? I'd like to cap mine off too.

In the end I just repaired mine with Tiger Seal. I'm sure a quick bit of Google Fu would find a rubber cap of the correct diameter.
