I got a bit brave and cut off the end of my 90 last night. I had a few hours spare and thought it was a good idea.

The plan was to buy a vnt for the 90, however last night I saw a td5 90 with a few simple mods, making the right noises and power, which is exactly where I would like my 300 to be!

Is it worth me just selling the 300 after finishing the rear end (Heavy Duty rear cross member thingy) and buying a td5, rather than chasing the power/noise with the 4pot 300 tdi?

There was a post a while back where the guy insisted his 300tdi was making mental bhp all because he had yellow silicone hoses, maybe worth a search was a good chuckle!

No lr engine is made for lots of power. But td5 is more tuneable in that respect.
Fit a proper engine instead :behindsofa:

Is that a cummins i6? hehe!

I have a very solid 90 tbh, so was tempted with the td5 swap in to my chassis.

Getting there!

The amount of love this thing has had, might not bother with the td5 and just vnt this! :)
