After 10 1/2 years of service I am now selling or breaking my disco 1 1995 300 TDi auto.So if anyone wants an MOT failure ,Rust near rear seat belt anchor points, rear wheel arches as mentioned on MOT fail cert .Other reason for failure are front wheel bearing excessive play ,and front wheel steering stops need adjusting .
There are major signs of rust elsewhere plus the front near side wheel is oval .
If anyone wants to buy it whole , it will require a trailer as no MOT .My location is Bracknell RG12
Equipment list:-
Safari snorkel
Split charger
5mm front winch bumper with a working Britpart DB12000i winch,it has a metal wire not rope
5 mm Rear bumper with holes for lights but blanked over
Steering guard
2 Jate rings
Detroit locker model No 187sl173a
Truetrac limited slip diff
Poly bushes fitted
2 inch lift
Gearbox was reconditioned by Ashcroft 10 years ago but only about 15K driven since
Reconed PS box several years ago
Rear spring locators
larger rear bump stops
new rear floor panel several years ago but still OK
Front diff guard
Hardened steering rod
I have no idea as to value as yet but will consider any and all offers
Email me if you want any bits in case no one wants to take it whole i will wait about a week before starting to break it
If you got this far thanks for reading

Thought i'd put some pictures up to show state of Landy did make a video of engine running but lost it on comp. Will try later as it did not fail on the engine

£750 ish as i am trying to evaluate the breakage value ,The body panels do pass an MOT but they are full of character.Chassie looks to be in good condition but rust is the issue on the panels .Garage wanted £450 to weld and fresh MOT just on what they spotted. Will try to put picture of MOT on later along with engine video .If you can weld ? Is that too much ?

Not considering all the parts it comes with

Thankfully they were presents over the years. Not having much luck uploading the engine video a MOV file .Does anyone know which video format it will accept ?

You'd be better off selling the add ons separately.
Bit hard to tell from your photos but looks like the sill has had its day as well.

Thanks for the reply i will do that if no-one wants it as a project .Its easier for me for it to go in one piece .But i do like the idea of taking it apart without thinking about putting it back together BUT The wife is looking forward to parking on her drive after 10 years .

I would be interested in it for the farm but my budget doesn’t stretch that far! You should cover that money easily if you want the hassle of parting it out!

Thanks for the comment Shaun .Have just sold a piece of flexable exhaust pipe and had a good chat with Mike and realised just how much fun i've had being a disco owner/repairer off road driver .Sitting here re-thinking my decision to get rid so ???

Mike if you see this thread heres a picture of the centre diff lock lever .All i did was take the top off cleaned greesed and exercised

Hi mate. If you are considering breaking for spares I will take the engine, all ancillaries, pipework etc.
Been looking for an engine for a while now and you are only about 15 minutes away from me.
Let me know
Thanks

I would need to sell the engine and gearbox together .I think the gearbox is the better part as it was re-conditioned by Ashcroft just after i bought it .Also i dont have a crane to remove engine myself ,so you would need to remove engine yourself at my address (with my help) .What is it worth to you ? At least this way you can see it working .I dont mind if it takes a couple of days either
