Open to offers (or ideas) is my beloved 1998 300tdi 110.

Only considering selling as I am off to Canada for 4+ months next year and will not have the time for it. Mechanically sound except: Likely pinion bearing failure (salisbury axle) happened last week, the day I was collecting the keys from my new house! The misses was unimpressed! Drove it home with shafts and prop off.

Completely rebuilt by me last year on a Richards galvanised chassis.
Puma (2013) bulkhead
Home made wiring loom and dashboard- simple but functional
All brand new suspension components
Front axle rebuilt, brand new flanges, swivels, cvs and half shafts.
Brand new wheel bearings all round
New clutch
Engine and gear box brilliant. Cambelt done 10k ago. 155k miles. MOT'd until Sept 19.

The negatives
Before the next MOT: the exhaust will require new mounts (currently 3inch pipe sat on the chassis, very loud and function but probably won't go through a test!)
Requires windscreen washers- I haven't got around to it yet.

Location near Warminster. (Wiltshire)

Fixing it isn’t the problem. I can always find time to do that! For the most part this year, it will be sat around doing nothing. And it deserves far more than that!

Canada and America, 4+ months in one and then 1 in the other. I’m not concerned with it starting, it will just be sat there doing nothing.

It'll sit there for months yeah, but it'll be waiting for you. All that time and effort to rebuild it, sort the niggles when you get back and enjoy it

So I think what I will do is embark on a second rebuild, (we have a spare Cummins lying around).

So anyone want my 300tdi, R380 and transfer box, delivered anywhere in the country. Currently located in South Wiltshire. Make an offer.

Im in 2 minds to convert my D1 to a manual or break it...….I have a newly built 300 but I need the injection pump ect as I have
the EDC so how much were you thinking & il have a stew over it

I suspect too much if you just want to rob bits from it! This is a formed unit ready to drop in and go?

Engines alone are going on eBay for £400. This is the lot incl delivery!

Well I don’t know what it’s worth. I will probably stick it on the bay and let it find it’s own value.

It also depends on how far away you live if you want it delivered!

Do you want 400 including delivery or do you not know what you want for it ??

Advanced search on begay will tell you exactly what they have sold for, not many bidding over 330 some cheaper
with autoboxes & an auto selling price is around 200 prob not worth it to me.
