Decided against going down the 2nd hand road as the cradles all look a bit scabby.
As you cant get a new one apart from a galvanised guard at £90, I thought what not have a goo at fabrication.
The original cradle was in really bad nick across the bottom, however both ends were solid and seemed worth saving.

Decided to get some mild steel strips cut from my local supplier and construct a bracket type cradle using the old one as a template

Slipped a couple of sheets in between for strength

and a coat of red oxide primer

Total Cost £12.

Hopefully do the job just fine.
 
I made my own ,but made it bigger ,nearer the size of the tank,also acts more like a tank guard, but no where near as heavy,
