i need some help
i have fitted a new head ,recon turbo all was well till it sounded like it throw a liner out of bed and lost power this was at about 50mph got it rercovered home then tryed to start it and it now has a little bit of a tap which comes and goes
can any one advise me as to what they thinks up with it

Is it runing off at all any other clues you can give us?

it runs sweet but just got a tap have also ajusted tappets

Vac pumps can make strange tapping noises varying from sounding like a bit heavier than tappet to sounding like a broken piston but would not lead to power loss.

Would vac pump cause it to cut out

No, not sure of any way this could happen, Does it still cut out if you take it for a run?
