Does anyone know how to change the rear diff pinion oil seal on a 300 TDI discovery.
There is no pinion nut, I believe that I need to use a slide hammer to remove the drive flange but am not too sure and the haynes manual is of no use at all.
hi yes u need to remoeve the cover witha slide hammer. or another wat is to use a m8 bolt witha smaller one behind but make sure u dont snap it or u in loadsa trouble! the nut will then be revield for all to see!!!
