Hi all, on depressing my clutch whilst setting off in first gear, there was a loud clunk and I lost pedal pressure after pumping the pedal many times I got about 80% of the pressure back. Would I be right in thinking its a hydraulic fault and if so can anybody tell me whether it is likely to be the master or slave or could it be a fault on any of the clutch parts ? The fluid level has not altered. Many thanks. Martin

best changing both - they don't cost much and are easy to fit

unless it'll the release arm that's popped through at the pivot point

Hi Sean, I thought that would be the best option, thanks for confirming that, presumably I wont know about the release arm until I have removed the gearbox ? many thanks Martin

were you able to change gear when you finally got some pressure back ?

if it is the arm the GB doesnt need to be totally removed just needs dropping back a bit
