Looks like the clutch is going on the 300 disco.[ revs going up when hard accelerating but no speed increase].Just looked on Paddocks page and they have replacement clutch for about £150.00.Are these clutches ok? I only do about 5 k miles per year and occasionally tow a caravan.

Should be ok as that's not a cheap one. Make sure you fit a new release arm as well.

Fit a heavy duty fork-you don't want to go in there again

Thanks guys, I went for the Borg and Beck clutch kit four piece £98.75 ebay.
My mechanic said he would fit it for me for £200. sounds ok to me.
