Hi all

I'm new to Land rovers being I've owned four altogether (plus one range rover auto P38)
However, One was a scrapper, One was unfinished and sold, One was a 1 tonne ex army but beyond repair
These three were sold without being on the road
My current Land rover I am determined to keep and use.
It is a five door 1968 109' safari
The engine was originally a six cylinder but was changed out to a 21/4 diesel before my owner ship.
The engine was smoky and the gearbox was shot.... so my plan was to convert to a more powerful 300 tdi with auto gearbox.

Problem......
I have fitted a donor engine and gearbox without too much problem and I know it is a good engine and box.
However I cannot get it to fire into life
I have studied the wiring diagram and have power at the Engine ECU, The fuel stop solenoid is powered up, The fuel pump is buzzing when powered up according to the wiring diagram and the engine turns over.
I have fresh clean diesel to the pump but nothing coming to the injectors????

Any idea's, Has anyone done this conversion before??

I don't have the EGR ecu wired in and the engine didn't have an immobiliser

Regards
Phil

I been informed that it did have an immobiliser so my question is now
How do I bypass the immobiliser as I don't have the ecu or fobs????

Help......
