Can someone please help me out with this i was told to take the cover off my 3 wire anti tamper proof stop solenoid and there would be a normal 1 wire one underneath but this is all i found

you need to remove it all till you get to solenoid

So ask whoever told you what to do now, maybe.

It's anti-tamper for many reasons, one of which is it takes a small amount of thinking about ...

yeas i can get to wires but if the solenoid is broke, how do i change it landowner cheers

cheers james any idea on the best way to take it off, as it has 2 bolts holding it on, which are anti tamper proof thanks again

I would check it now using the click test before going any further

so if i get that black box off is there a single wire stop solenoid underneath it, as found on earlier models thanks

you should be able to chisel bolts undone (they arent usually very tight)once youve chisled enough from around them
