HELP

After searching here re the 3 amigos I decided to tackle my little problem.

In the post this morning 4, yes all 4 wheel speed sensors arrived. Armed with a drill and a hammer I duly replaced all of them as per instructions. I pushed them all the way in and cleaned the rings.

Joy I thought after I put a meter across them all (1.2 ohms each) and went for a drive.

And... THE LIGHTS ARE STILL ON.

Brake lights fine and switch replaced.

Any ideas where to look? Someone mentioned a first and reverse switch, does anyone know where it is?

Unfortunately I checked them all ( as per posts) and found 3 to be 8.2 and one non register. Ta though

The switch is the yellow one on the gear stick. You can slip off the rubber gaitor and check that the wires are connected to the switch. if you still have no joy, might be worth checking the codes for where to go, or take the bulbs out of the dash :)

Lately I have been getting the 2 Amigos (TC & HDC) illuminating intermittently, more so very lately.

3 Days ago my battery wouldnt crank the engine so I charged it up... still no joy really so I bought a new battery (80AH) and swapped it out. Guess what, no amigo's since!!!

Just a thought, check the state of your battery and if in doubt give it a damn good poke of electricity or change it.

Cheers for the post. Battery was new a month ago and the HDC switch is fine. What's this cars scrap value...

you may have come to the point that the whole thing needs a reset as it registers every time they are on with the ignition look around for some one who can do it cheep i do not know where you live but LRC in congelton did my wifes half the price of stratstones hope this helps
