In no specific order....For my 4.6 petrol RR.

1. What size/make of replacement battery should I go for?

2. What alternator?

3. How do I disconnect the RF antenna?

1. Biggest that will fit....Alphaline 135A 1100CCA

2. 150A I believe

3. Take off the blue aerial lead

Battery megastore on line for the battery, about £98 delivered. 1000CCA 135AH.
The blue aerial wire is under the plastic in the rear quarter that the parcel shelf fits to.
Alternator should have a regulator set point of 14.2 volts or up to 14..8 volts.

You'll see it when you see the RF re eiver under the rear. Parcel shelf. Use Brian's second fob fix and for a tenner you keep all functionality.

Just mind that the alternators are different on gems and thor engines. If you have a large plenum stamped 4.6 it's a gems engine. If your engine has a set of banana shaped manifolds on top it's a thor/Bosch engine.
