hi there,
been looking to buy a landy for a while, iv got about 3k to spend and i have found a class one. 200tdi, j reg, 12month MOT, all belts done last month, 67k miles ect.. but it has a 3" lift.

will a 3" lift compromise road driving much? i will mostly be on the road/Mway and when i do go off road itl only be green lanes probably, maybe the odd playday.

should i let it put me off or is it livable? i have an image of driving round a slight corner and it leaning on to its door handles!

cheers

That's quite a lot of lift. What wheels & tyres are on it? What pattern tyres? There are quite a few things that might make it difficult to live with.

Hi mate, they look like insa turbo's but he just said they are '35" extreme tyres'. Can't tell if they are 15 or 16"
cheers

If you are going to be mostly on M/ways sounds like there'll be a fair bit of tyre rumble. It is going to loll about around bends & it might drive you round the ****ing pole.

There's a few about for the money you've got, you're probably better off trying to find one that hasn't been ****ed around with. ;)

Yeh iv been looking for a standard-ish one. They all have high mileage or holes everywhere. Maybe il keep looking. It's all the way in London aswel. Quite a way from Manchester to see something that isn't right.
Cheers fellas
