xmas morning not only froze up my vapouriser, it froze the cooling system too...so i now have a noisy water pump bearing
I've had a gander and the pump looks accessible...but can it be replaced fairly easy?
are there any hidden perils that i should look out for pls

thks,

its all ok as long as none of the bolts break !!!

I am avoiding doing mine for that reason!

Did the gaskets (inc head gaskets) survive the freeze?!

thanks for the comments guys...hmm knowing me i could quite easily knacker the bolts!! but yeah hadnt thought about damage to the heads & gaskets. i had replaced the black plastic coolant header tank 6 months ago - that had split ..and i do check coolant on a twice weekly basis - it always has lost a small amount per week.. about 1/2 a litre but then i do travel daily 50 mls to work and back (done 48000 mls in 2 years) with no trouble

Replaced my water pump recently, hardest part was getting the viscous fan off even with the correct spanner!!
