the starter lugs have snapped off the block as far as I can make out unless he meant the lugs have snapped off the starter but its not clear

Lugs have snapped off starter. Can't afford fuel

secondhand starter will get you better money, am I missing something your going to break it for sake of £25 starter

I'd get more breaking it than I will selling whole! If the guy doesn't have it tomorrow I'll fix it up and keep/sell it on. I have an offer of a gas kit!

Yeah some high spec ones have a speaker(tweeter) in the A pillar

Not around bottom bolt but at the back covered by the rear bumper there is a small hole I am sure is on passenger but not sure as bumper does cover it!
