i have a tappet gone on my range rover bobtail does anyone have a rough idea of how to adjust it?
do you need a special tool? any help on this would be much appreciated.

not sure on landrovers but it won't be a special tool, some feeler gauges and a ring spanner

Get someone to buy you the haines manual as an early crimbo present :lol: It should tell you how to do them too.

they're hydraulic and you really need to change the cam as well if they are worn

if you ned to get the part numbers if you pm me your engine number i can look up in catalogue i have in book form.It covers 1970-1985.
