 Blimey, how long is the feature
Yours is a fine example of a P38 Martyn....offer yours up as it look immaculate, and don't forget the trailer with the multiple bound volumes of potential problems with P38A Range Rovers... :D:D:D:D:D

To be fair, once you're past the EAS issues, the RF interference & burnt out locks, loss of synch, the electrics, the gearbox, the heater o-rings, the cooling issues, the fuelling issues and the slipped liners on the V8, you're pretty much home and dry.

Be nice to see a looked after example on the screen. Go for it Martyn!

I wonder if they know what they're letting themselves in for offering to pay fuel?

Hello,

I’m looking for a 2nd generation (P38A) Range Rover for a TV feature on Friday 10th October in the Midlands area.

Fuel & catering will be provided for the day.
If you are interested in bringing your car along for the day, please contact me with your vehicle details & some photos at fifth.gear@northonetv.com

I’m also interested in finding out any problems anyone has had with this car/any high running costs?

Thanks in advance!

Wouldn't let Tiff Needell (my dad couldn't stand him and neither do I) or the woman with the very large mouth (see the stupid advert for fith.gear a short while ago) or the other head shaker?? get their hands on mine. What a bunch. Probably try to break it and all for a sandwich and a few litres of fuel!

Do you mean the one with the large mouth and no lips ? I'd lend her one, and not my car:D:D

Aww, they need a P38 exactly when mine is off the road. Just my dumb luck. Be interesting to see what feature requires a P38 though.

Running costs? Paid £3500 for mine. Spent £7000, worth probably £5000! Now that is a running cost! Still love it!

Had my P38 DHSE for 5 years, paid £4850 for it and spent about £1800 including tyres, S/S exhaust all servicing and and parts. Not bad IMO:D
