Just bought a 2K RR, excellent nick for its age, drives superb, and just got back from a trip and the missus has noticed that the heating for the left hand side is blowing cold(ish) air, even on hi.

Any pointers as to what to look at, as have no experience on the RR and have yet toget the Haines manual.

Forgot to add, its a 4.6 Vogue, if that will help....

I am reading as much as possible from the previous threads to see if that helps, just alot toget through

i thought they had seperate heating controls, one fer the driver and one fer the passenger

Yes they do,

The drivers side works fine, hot/cold

Passenger is as mentioned, blowing cold, including the rear passenger side..

Not knowing how the heating matrix works (until the mighty haines arrives) I was looking for some pointers or ideas on known issues to look at..

Do a search on this forum for BLEND MOTORS. You will find several hundred pages of information on diagnosis and repair.... Allow yourself a day to do it yourself and about £50 if you can get a single motor, £200 -£300 for a specialist or £1000 for a main dealer.

Have been looking all day and think I have enough to go on.. will check all the basics first and then take a look at the left hand one and see if its gonna be a simple replace.. Lots of great info,
