hi all i have a 1969 series 2 landover and its doing my nut ,

the rear steering linkage got lost , so i have brought a new one and its to long of i have fitted it wrong its 43 inches long hears some photos of it in situ and the amount it tows out

what part number did you order? non pedant looks to be 43 1/8 - part 526994.

also do those tre's not have large shoulders.. i thought the series tre's thread went right to the ball housing. part 320901

or you can upgrade to heavy duty stuff.

btw it's 1160mm (ish) (45.68 in) for initial setup ball centre to ball centre

its doing my nut im not far off tacking a saw to it to shorten it , but i would prefer the correct parts , apparently its important that its a lightweight

not sure, i'd presume the lightweight will use the same 2a parts.

check above post out and measure up

did they say why they thought that? or did they just say get a smaller one?

i would have thought the 2a non pedant would fit is it's the orig axle

they think that the arms are range rover , i suspect its a case of what part will fit ,

so at least it reduces my job list to , exhaust , hand break , seat brackets and fuel filler pipe
