hi guys how do I bleed air out of the engine when I experience a diesel air lock?due to having no diesel as fuel gauge isn't accurate .cheers!

if its the same as a series III there is a bleed screw on the diesel pump, then a priming lever on the engine block which you pump until diesel flows out of it, then put the screw back in and start it, it may take a few attempts

also it might be worthwhile disconnecting the unions at the injectors, and turning it over until diesel comes out of the fuel lines to get rid of any air that might be in them.
