hi
quick question, tomorrow my mate is going to fit 265x75x16 BF Goodrich mud tyres to his standard 1994, 300TDI LR 90,

i don't know the answer will they fit:confused:

thanks for this
i just fitted 265x75x16 Insa Turbos on my landy 90 and had advised my mate to get the same, but he went for the BF muds, glad to here they will fit............................thanks

insa's are probably the best remoulds available at the minute, reasonably priced and goo wearing, yer right gareth, they are a well chunky tyre ;)

see picture of the insa turbos:D :D :D :D

had them out yesterday off roading really really impressed:D :D :D :D :D travelling to the event not bad on the road, a little noise at about 60mph;) ;)

yes i know that;) ;) , my 1st question was about tyre sizes i had advised my mate to get........................Griffdog wanted to see pictures of my insa turbo special tracks:D :D

yella prob got me on the ignore list cos hes a *unt ;)

my mate just sold his 33" khumos for a set. side by side he said the insa's were a little bigger! crazy. they look good though. may have to consider a set when i buy my new 90. dont know anyone selling a set of mach 5's wheels do you :D

Awww Gareth How Could Yer Ever Think Ive Got Yer On Me Ignore List, I Dunt Think I Would Sell A Set Of New Tyres For A Set Of Remoulds.how Old Were The Kumho's. Dya Think The Insas Might Have Been Bigger Cos The Kumhos Were Slightly Worn ???

i only bought 4 tyres and have a different sized spare was told yesterday that i need to have a spare the same as whats fitted, why is this:confused:

na, it was nothing to do with that. they were just massively wide. tyre sizes are really deceptive. they were meant to be 12.5" wide but they looked much bigger. hes only had them a short while and blown a CV joint, a PAS box and when he taped a tree it sheared 4 of the 5 wheel studs which eventually manifested itself into the wheel coming off down the road! i got some funny pics sent to me that day :D

bloke in garage said the width was causing the stress on bits. so he wanted to downsize. couldnt make up his mind and went for the special tracks. at 9.5" wide and taller than his 33's it can only be a good thing right?

should be good offroad. will have to wait till our wales weekend in Dec.

i can test out my smaller 31x10.5 BFG's :( much smaller than my 265 grizzly's!

well fook me u live and learn something new every fooking day, there was me thinking it had something to with the fooking transmission:) :)
