Hi people just moved up to 265/75/16's on my discovery 1 but haven't put the spare on yet as I only had 4 fours tyres till today . Could any of you please tell me do need to do anything special to fit the tyre on the back or does it just clear the rear bumper ?

I have a 22mm gap from the bottom of the spare to the top of the bumper-on 255-65-16 so it will be tight

I used to carry a spare 265/75r16 on the standard rear door bracket. You might need to turn the bracket upside down to gain a little bit of space.

on the 90 we had to put the wheel on opposite way to normal if you know what I mean, as couldn't get to rear door handle the normal way, only problem now is they wheel hits the light guard when you open the door, so much so it has now bloody snapped!! oh n door handle has given up the ghost too lol

On a disco td5, 265/75/16 fits if you turn the bracket upside down, and adjust the wiper arm.
